Leaking valve cover gasket is definitely NOT causing your exhaust leak, your stock mani is probably cracked like the rest of them or just missing hardware.

No one said it was definitely an exhaust leak but it was suspected. As jerseymods has shown above, no crack and all hardware tight. Im just saying i have a weird sound. Since I have a shot valve cover gasket and sound, im only putting two and two together. I have to fix the gasket and if problem solved then we know......

He was lucky, and his car is SUPER low mileage. And again, leaking VC gasket has nothing to do with an exhaust leak.

I changed my valve cover gasket last yr, and it has not leaked since.

Fixed my valve cover gasket and noise is gone. Was not an exhaust leak.

Because it's the internet and he says so.

Otherwise, it was because it was chronically losing oil and it was top end noise.
