I'll add that I was also lured by the 10 year Hyundai warranty, though after doing some research I found that many owners said Hyundai fought them on every repair and that it was a total hassle to get them to do anything under warranty. Kind of negated that advantage in my opinion.
Local Hyundai dealer had a big banner offering extended 20 year warranty. I had to laugh.
No car maker could make a profit if they actually honored such a warranty.
Forums talk about fighting dealer to do Hyundai warranty work, and endless trips to "try" to get things repaired. That 10 year warranty is a nightmare if you actually have to use it often, or attempt too.
