The Ohio Auto-X and Track Event chat thread

High five, Darin. I like your style. And open faced helmet are for dorks. lulz

Do you wear glasses on track?

Good point about the glasses. I wore my thin frame glasses that fit in the helmet the best. Besides they're transitional and everybody knows transitional glasses are the coolest.(headshake I imagine glasses would fit better in an open face helmet.

Hey, I have tranisitional glasses! But yeah, I don't really like them...

My helmet is only good through 2015 so I'll be getting a new helmet that will fit my glasses better late next year. Phen's Bell fit my glasses much better than my G-force helmet. But Nate will never buy a helmet anyway. It only took him 5 years of talking about buying a new car before he finally did.

(-xoxo, Nate. :D )

I have the same helmet that Phen does, there is a break in the phone padding for glasses. I don't wear glasses (haha four eyes), but I wear sunglasses a ton with my helmet.

Open faced helmets are sweet. Plus, way less hot in the summer.

You probably shouldn't be on your phone while on track, William... (that's for the hour eyes bazinga)

I take my helmet with me when I go to get new glasses, that way I make sure they fit.
I am going to need a new helmet again next year. I usually by Bell helmets, the quality is pretty damn good and they are comfortable as well.

I just had a visual of Marc in my eye dr's office with a helmet on looking in the mirror

I also took my helmet with me when I went to test drive the Miata to see it I would fit with the top up, you should see the looks you get from the car salesmen.

I'm going to do that from now on.

Hey I use an open faced helmet. NVM, I are a dork. I am also claustrophobic so a full faced helmet isn't an option for me.

I'm excited for the auto-x on Sunday in Lakeland. I haven't done much auto-x'ing at all this year. :(
