NEMOC Random BS Thread

So why is the Honda still down Phen? I remember you talking about suspension options but thought she'd be back on the road once installed. I must have missed something along the way.

Facebook...meh...never had an account nor a desire. The only time I ever went on was my daughter's accont last week to check the 949 page for new 6UL colors since they weren't posted on the site or forums yet. lol

We need to get the AARP guys on Facebook. This is pretty much the only thread I check on this forum these days.

^^^ good luck with that!!

Leave us Old Guys out of this!!!

how about g+...much betta than bookface

Never will get me on any of that. I never understood the urge to post what people are doing on a day to day basis. This place is about the most I post on the various forums I visit.

Hey hey! Wake up everybody!!!

Congrats on the ht find Chris! If I ever get lucky enough to find a Ti Grey ht, that would be my unicorn as well.

How's the new place Mark and were the kids nice enough to give you one of those bays for the MSM?

Well, I installed the suspension but broke a brake line in the process. I've honestly just not had any time to work on it since then between work and Mazda stuffs, in addition to helping other folks with their cars. I started to make a line, but the tight location of it is a real b**** to work with. After creating one and installing it, I went to bleed the brakes and stripped the bleeder. So, now I'm just trying to figure out how I want to go about fixing it. I'm probably going to take it all apart because I have to replace the rear hubs anyway. We'll see.

Speaking of the hardtop.. I just pulled in from picking it up and hanging out with some Mazda peeps. 400+ mile round trip, 141k on the odometer, and a healthy 32.3 mpg. Yeah baby!

Looks good! You know I'm up for a drive. ;) What better way to start the Fall then a top down drive up 95 in Oct. :)

Isn't that the way it works 99% of the time? You go to fix one thing and find something else wrong or break something along the way that needs to be fixed. I'm sure we have all been there before. At least it isn't your only car. You def. help others out, time to ask for a few helping hands to get the Honda going.

Nice find Chris and looks great!

Well if it's late oct, I might drop by with the RV and Mia in tow.

Nice Chris.

Worked on Mary's Focus tonite at our tech nite. Changed the oil (no filter) and fixed a loose heat shield.

Finally gave USAA a call last night and glad I did. Our new insurance premiums for six months are cheaper than the discounts that State Farm was giving us. All coverages are the same with exception of the comp deductible which I raised to $500. Will pocket about $65 a month in savings and saving an additional $140 a year on homeowners. :)

So...who is up for a rear suspension job? As you can see I found the cause of that annoying squeak....

That exact thing happened to Katie (Katya4me) and Shawn (DC folks) on the wrong end of a 16 hour round trip road trip a couple months back. Apparently it's a common-ish failure in rust-belt Proteges.
