The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Just got up and shoveled the driveway and then got the waggin out on the unplowed street. I must say, the DWS's handled the 6-8" of snow very well.........really nice that the snow was past my knees in some part of our yard.......I know it will be coming to an end soon!!!

My wife got her 3 with DWS stuck immediately after leaving the garage this morning. In the tire's defense though, they are on their last legs.

Toro Power Curve 1800, best damn investment. This thing was blowing snow 30-40 feet today. The wind was helping some, but this thing is a beast. When i'm done, i pick it up and but it in the garage. No need to mix the gas or pull start it, it just goes. The extension cord can be a bit of pain sometimes, but it beats shoveling by hand.

My snow removal consists of a tractor with a cab, heat, and radio and an 8 foot snow blade. ;)

Oh, I know you were. All these other cry babies though... haha

If you had to go outside every time it snowed to shovel not only your driveway, but also shovel the sidewalks and help clear off 200+ cars and trucks, you would be bitching too.

Snow blower does help. Got mine for free in November and it does okay. That snow storm where we had a layer of ice made it useless though.

That does sound crappy.

while that sucks... no one is forcing you to be a car salesman, it was your choice... so again quitcherbitching hahah :P

I think we're in the mid-50 inches of snow this season, which is like the 4th or 5th most I record, I think. I still shovel by hand because anything more than 4-5 inches at a time is rare and that's typically only once a year. I know as soon as I buy a snowblower we'll have the longest streak of mild winters on record. Fortunately we're supposed to be above freezing for the forseeable future.

Oh yeah, red car is gone!

Bye, Red!

I might be crazy but not taking the time to clean bird poop off before pics makes me wonder about the dealership...

Seeing the new 3 in person at the auto show, i was pretty disappointed to be completely honest.
I personally wouldnt buy a new 3. Front styling is great, ass end looks like they ran out of time and just slapped something half-assed together,
interior was dreadfully ugly. Especially the radio/nav location. the cargo room took a substantial hit with that god awful slant back as well...

I would however spend the l extra and get the 6, substantially better overall exterior design, interior fit and finish was nice and didnt look like the half-assed hodge podge the 3 is.

about that...The 6 Touring auto is less than the 3s touring. Although if you're doing an auto it really makes no sense to get a Touring unless you're getting the tech package. But at that point you can get the GT w/ moonroof and paddles w/ everything in the tech package for just a little bit more.

I think Mazda has priced the 3 too high.

Just realized Byers is using old pics, there's '13 VRM MS3 in the show room and a '13 Black MS3 behind it to the right and no snow anywhere...(they haven't had either MS3 for months)

IF i actually am buying a brand new car, ill drop the extra and get exactly what i want which would have been comparing the GT-S Mz3 with the GT 6 and thats a 4k difference. and after seeing both cars in person, Id willingly pay the extra 4k cause the 6 IMO was head and shoulders better overall fit and finish.

I got ya now, and yes I agree.

The 6 in white is gorgeous. The only complaint I have about the 6 is the 6-speed manual is only available in the Sport and Touring, and to get the Bi-xenons you have to go to the GT. Halogen's suck.
