I'm tempted to paint them without taking them off the car. Will have to do light-medium coats and mask the brakes. pain. Probably not worth the effort.

yank the wheels, buy a cheap set of poker cards to put at the lip/bead area to protect the tire from over spray and knock it out haha

Let's dip that front cross bar black. It will hold up just fine and if it gets too chewed up, peel it and paint it again.

And black wheels will go back on when salt is gone. There are steelies so don't want them to rust.

Pffsht, of course I've got Dip. Can you remove just that center bar? We can paint it in the basement and dry them with my halogen shop lamps. Dip dries pretty fast so we could bang it out in about an hour or two. No pressure. Or wait until warmer temps outside.

Yea, just have to take the lights and the mounts off. Stupid hex keys.
It'll be a couple of week before I have time - travels and such - but I'll be showing up on your door step sooner or later! With some cookies..
