The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

the head behind the pillar must be for reducing your blind spot. If someone's in it, you just look over and there they are.

April bought a car from a bad ass once. Her seat was literally slanted to the center because the person had the ride side of their body leaning back so hard.

I almost always drive around 9 and 3. Even when I autoX both of my hands are usually on the wheel and pretty evenly apart. Use to let the wheel slide between my hands, but I noticed that I turn smoother the other way. Plus my car rotates so much all I have to do is let off the gas to let the car slide around.

I'd say 90% of the time I am not driving "spiritedly" around corners I have my elbow on the door panel and left hand on the wheel at 9/10 o clock. I was in this position for so long on the way down/back to Cbus that my shoulder muscles actually started hurting. The other 10% I have my left hand on top of the wheel. It's not hard, I don't know why everyone makes it out to be so hard lol? And I have manual steering.

^You are so hard.

speaking of other "hard" things, this is SO HARD!!! lol (only a few will get this joke lol)

I'm sure Will can make some "SO HARD" vinyl for the doors. And that thing is fugly.

SO HARD! Hell yeah. I wish I had a ride that hard.

(Insert obvious Miata owner joke here)

We'll just put some vents here... oh and there and... a BFW! WTF is with the red mirrors?

I want one! I need to get one of those BRC vinyl too off of him.

Wanting some input on autocrossing... Well first things first I will need to rebuild my motor before hand... But I would like to run with forged engine running 10psi, upgraded braking system... What class would this put me in and can some one get me a link to all the rules/safety equipment needed... Thanks

@pablo - atlassian products everywhere! Our jira server took a giant dump today. Probably because of the crowd plugin and AD integration. Friggin IT people need to get their sh*t straight.

Driving with your hand on top of the steering wheel is stupid unless you are able to see the whole windshield without the hand blocking your view.
I rarely have 2 hands on the steering wheel. Too much work. I'm all about relaxing when I'm driving. Chill... hang... whatevs. If I wanted to workout, I'd go to the gym. :)

Whatever the f*ck that chevy thing is - it's just wrong. Useless vents all over. srsly wtf.

I'd put your question in the Auto-x thread. Lots of helpful fellows in here;

What exactly is happening in here?
Widebody kits on FWD, yO!

Evan, you should remember the "SO HARD" joke, since it happened at the house when you still lived there lol

I told you guys only a few would get it haha

if im crusining or driving around normal i just keep my one hand at either 9 or 12, but then again im also looking out the top of the windshield (almost straight on with the AS1 line) if im on a winding country road and want to play then ill go 3 and 9 with both hands

Those vents on the widebody fenders aren't useless. That's GM's new brake cooling feature. LMAO

As for driving with the left hand at noon, it isn't that hard to do. Only thing it blocks for me is the top of the speedometer. When I do drive that way, my elbow is resting on the door panel. And that exact reason is why I had the nerve issues going down my arm and into my hand (numb/tingly fingers) after the accident. Now I can only drive so long that way before my shoulder starts to ache so the majority of the time my left hand is around 7. And no I don't have the mad tyte JDM gangsta lean nor is my seatback in the rear seat.

Oh I got it. And was going a step further with the black Cobalt you made in Forza with the "SO HARD" vinyl on the side. ;)
