Is that a 17x8? It also depends on the tire too, one brands 215 will be wider than another brand. I mean, I just don't see why you wouldn't want more tire? Is it a price issue? The speedo calculator issue? Granted there isn't a huge difference between a 215 and a 225.

People got so heated in the HT vs AP thread. I don't understand how it is possible to get that angry about something on the internet!

Each has its own advantages. Really depends on what your goals are. I went with AP because it allows for fine tuning. I was overboosting quite frequently and being able to adjust stuff quickly was worth the extra $ to me for.safety's sake.

^everything was stated there lol. according to rimsntires theres only .4 of an inch of difference in tread. I'm going to contradict Corey and go with a lighter less rotating mass setup. I just want to see the differences. even though these arent by any means R-comp tires lol

well im still new to autocross so Im expecting to get beat by everything. specially with a different car now that doesnt have a disco

^ i agree, i have a buddy that is a state trooper in pa and they have a general rule of thumb "9 your fine, 10 your mine" meaning they generally dont even bother unless you are doing 10 over...

Well when you grow up knowing you are safe 10 or less over its no big deal, i really dont even bat an eye at it... 99% of the time i set cruise 5-7 over and go... thats why i hate caravaning with all you lead-footed OH people LOL

Well when you grow up knowing you are safe 10 or less over its no big deal, i really dont even bat an eye at it... 99% of the time i set cruise 5-7 over and go... thats why i hate caravaning with all you lead-footed OH people LOL

99% of the time that's what I do also, hell, when I hit OH, it was 7 over max. I kinda booked it across PA though, since I was on my own and just wanted to get home to my wife.

what socket did you use for the lugs? seems like a deep hole I got extended lugs so I didn't hit the wheels but your lug holes look pretty deep

I used McGard spline drive lugs (the new owner has those as well haha), so there was a socket that came with those. Feel free to PM me any other questions you have about them, no need to clutter up the random thread haha.

If you have to you might have to let him sit on the wheels for a while before you're going to get the best price.
