Did a nice wetsand and polish to the headlights over the weekend on the P5. Applied some UV block afterwards so hopefully they will stay looking like this for many years to come.

Anyone planning on going to the OCC meet? It's a long drive for me and I'm not really sure its worth it.

edit: now I remember what I'm thinking of. Clarkson thought he could design a better interior and made the "anne hathaway's cottage" car, complete with wood burning stove

thats the one i was thinking of. yeah ideally a bigger wagon like the volvo would allow for more fun but i can just give the p5 a few more years and then have my way with it. maybe a deck on top for camping? the possibilities are endless!

so i made a mention of it in the protege5 forum but ill let yall know here too. Im going to make some 5mm wheel spacers for the p5 this week at work and if they work well, then i will do my best to steal material and make some for my NEPOC friends (yeah tony, NEPOC not NEMOC!! ). so we will see how they turn out and if I can keep using free material from work or if we would need to make a small buy for some more stainless

Thanks Mark and Kyle. Initially planned on doing a retrofit but $300 for lights or $300 for a prom dress....no need to answer that one. I'm very happy with how they came out though! While I was at it I removed the pnp HID kit and installed some basic Sylvania H7 bulbs. Also installed the new OEM plastic clips for the bumper so no more sag.

You haven't got her on the road yet Mark? Blashphemy....hand over your keys!

the weather this sping has been kinda bad, and they just started fixing the pot holes...the roads are so bad on my commute i'm afraid i'm going to bend a rim, i can feel it....jeff, why'd you remove the hid's? i couldn't drive with out them...

getting closer to moving into the new house. as soon as it is official we will plan a meet. its on a quiet no outlet street so we can park all over (not as good as marks place but still good). just want to make sure I have a furnished house and grill and such before we have it so it can be a proper meet

Wow I missed a lot of chatter. Glad to see everyone is doing well.

The person from Nova Scotia who signed up is Johnathan A. I've emailed the officials and they've got things ready for us. I'll be holding a meeting with the rest of NEM6 at some point in the next couple weeks. The feast before the raffle and the climb will be (sort of) a pot-luck. We're going to let people bring what they want, but we'll also be cooking burgers, hot dogs and sausages on grills.

I'll post more details when I can.
