I just got home from the Mazda dealership with this beauty.

I love how not 10 years ago most people wouldn't be caught dead in a wagon and now when they stop selling them here, people are outraged that they don't offer a wagon version.

I think a big factor is how much more attractive the wagons are todau. I mean, ten years ago the taurus wagon, saturn sw2 wagon... the volvo ones were always nice though

alright guys, my sister has her money together. She keeps going back to the protege 5 but I want another speed in the drive way. I found this http://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/3609839711.html but I'm wondering if its worth the work to put a new diff in. If anyone could let me know where I could get one or if its just a bad idea that would be awesome. thanks

I saw that MSP a couple weeks ago on CL. Funny stuff, $1000 for Racing Hearts? Unfortunately, he doesn't know how cheap MSP parts are these days. I would talk him down on price, A LOT.

As for the LSD, you can swap in a welded OEM one or upgrade to an MFactory. But I personally I would have to take it to a transmission shop for instal. Trannys scare me (both kinds )

How many miles on the motor and how much rust on the rear fenders/hood?

EDIT- I'd check this one out too. High miles (barely broken in, since when is 100K miles barely broken in?) But looks pretty clean. Check under the hood though since it's got gauges it may have been beaten on. http://columbus.craigslist.org/ctd/3540340896.html

Well my little track monster is nearly ready, the engine is back together and I will be ordering the Haltech and the Disco Potato this Friday from CR3 MOtorsports! Also, will be upgrading the Suspension on the MS3, along with a new RMM...The AEROS SRI brought even more life into the car, the turbo spools up much faster and it has made it even more fun to drive!...see you guys on Wednesday night!!!!

that guy's prices are pretty wild... in the last month i've seen like 3 MSP's in ohio for that much or less. There's like 2 in Cinci (a spicy and a titanium... but the spicy is across the river) and one in newark (another titanium for $3000)
...they're all a little rough, of course... and they might be gone by now, but they run and the people selling those ones don't want $1000 for racing harts and didn't include "muscle car" in the description

mFactory diff is going for about $700, to break a diff it usually means hard launches from a stop. $2500 tops.

I'm just informally putting this out there, I'm thinking of having a Mazda BBQ / Valley run sometime this Spring. Our house near Sand Run has a large backyard and drive way. I think it would be a good time! Maybe sometime in the beginning of May?
