What have you done to your P5 today?

Turn that frown upside down Evan....it's all good. I figured you either didn't have spare ones or got busy. Too bad Phen's P5 wasn't in the driveway...donor car FTW! haha Of course I'd ask his permission first before asking for any parts. Whatever did he decide to do with the P5 anyway?

I'm not sure. I think it was supposed to go to the crusher but he still has some decent parts on it. He'll pop in soon enough to let you/us know.

Cool...if it hasn't gone to the crusher yet, I'd be interested in the bumper lights...that is if he didn't paint them silver...can't remember...for one thing.

There's a bunch of interior pieces I need since I scuffed mine up swapping seats in/out so many times. He said he sometimes has internet at his place in China so shoot him an email. I can go pull parts for you if he gives you the green light.

Sorry, guys. Back on topic. I'm making a mounting bracket for my distribution block after work then onto more wiring this weekend. Gotta admit, the TechFlex stuff is pretty cool.

While I have my motor apart, I should do the belts but I didnt think about that. The covers aren't fun but when ya get em off, do it. If you can spare some more down time, it cant hurt. I took what I think it the power steering pulley off to take up slack on the belt then took it off. Mind you though, I have the cams off and more. I doubt you would have to do that. The pass. side MM was easy enough to take off and I held the motor up using the flanged bit on the oil pan as opposed to the bottom.

Whatever you do, good luck! I dont say that to unnerve you. Put it this way: if I could do it with the help of a knowledgeable friend, im more than sure you can do it! :)

Thanks Evan...I'll shoot him pm. Don't think I have his email but have his cell. Have fun with that wiring!

Thanks Kingofspades and I'm stalling too while trying to secure some help too. ;) I'd feel much better doing the wrenching with some one else there with more knowledge should something go wrong.

I signed the title and mailed it to my parents. Not sure if anything has happened with it yet. Will contact them tonight (tomorrow morning for you chaps)

Maybe. Dunno yet. Gave them the title and said "Do something with it. I'm sick of it."

^^^ +1

I love white P5's the most. And your sis very clean, well done, mate. But you're missing the left pedal. ;)

LOL...Thanks....had the car since '01 and finally giving it some TLC for the past couple of years, was so occupied with my other passion - 1/10 and 1/8 scale electric/nitro RC cars...

Started designing a wide body aero kit for the car. Tired of having such limited wheel/tire sizes. Should be able to fit 17x11's with a 275 or 285 tire all the way around.
Basing it off of a few other designs. Not really going to have a ton of people who like it im sure.
