They wanted to cut corners when they built my shop, so they got a compressor that I wouldn't use in my own garage, it's been knocking for at least 9 months (the shop is only 15 months old). It fills with water like ******' crazy and fills the air hoses with water to the point it eats up peopls guns left and right. Well, it's started blowing fuses the past couple of months. I said from day one that the compressor was too small for the shop- 5,000sq.ft., 8 bays, fully equipped shop... So, they sent out a service tech from a company back in the summer and he said that the compressor was a piece of s*** and too small for the shop. Well, last night, there was a loud "pop" and no one felt like telling me. So, they keep working, then I have a car that needs an alignment and we do the alignment. The safety locks on the 4-post lift are pneumatic, so the car is stuck in the air. I can't get the compressor to come on, I checked everything, reset it, etc. I figured it was the fuses, but nowhere was open and it was 10 til 7, so I send one of my guys to put air in my portable air tank. The first gas stations compressor wasn't working. The second gas stations compressor wasn't working. He finally finds one that's working. We get the car down, and at this point it's time to leave. I let the other manager know, so he can fix it in the morning. I get here 2 hours after we're open and they still haven't fixed it. WTF? But anyway, they go get fuses and put them in and start up the compressor. Well the compressor starts smoking and pops another fuse. I've got $15k worth of work in my shop that I can't finish because I have no air. Well, they could finish the majority of it, but all with hand tools. And they're sending a flat-rate tech over to my other shop to mount tires. Needless to say, I've fot a bunch of pissed off employees.
