I love it when little critters sacrifice their lives so we can go home early.

For once Toledo has no problems that I know of. Still have power/internet. Just a little freezing rain this morning.

Only ever blinks for us. We're the main backup for when Mass. gets snowed in, so we've got full generator power in the event power goes out. That doesn't always prevent internet / phones to go down, but those are fairly robust. One of the downsides of working from home: you've always got a disaster-recovery location. Utilities out at home? Go to the office. Utilities out in the office? Go work from home.

Pretty crazy weather. Mansfield ~25 miles away had plowable amounts of snow. All we got was a little sleet. Some of the footage of the east coast blows my mind.

Tuesday morning here in columbus it was snowing pretty good, in my opinion, and i did see a salt truck go by. I can see the salt building up on my car now.
Not as bad as the derecho i don't think, that was an interesting storm. I got to experience the wind and the big dust cloud and a little grass fire sparked by a transformer (transformers or lightning or whatever are very loud when they blow/strike around 50 feet from you!) in person. So did my car cause i left all my windows down

A transformer once exploded near my house. I seriously thought a bomb went off, the whole house shook.

You guys wanting snow are nuts, I could go all winter without snow and be very happy.
