yea i orderd the k1 rods from progarage and they sent me molnar rods lol same thing so no biggie and i havnt gotten the rear fixed yet lol i wish i could find some color matching touch up paint cause it not all that bad

I have some K-1 rods, forged pistons but i'm unsure of the name brand but my wrist pins are wrong so I was unable to put them in so i'm still running stock internals IDK if I want to just have some wrist pins made at a shop or just order some new pistons

Ok so ever since i put the pope mani on ive been having an overheating problem. This weekend im gunna pull everything off like im taking the mani back off and put everything back together.
Ive checked the thermostat
Water pump is good

I think i ****** something up putting everything back together, cause i had to take the radiator off

everything came with the car when I bought it.....so thats why I don't know the brand of the pistons (they have no markings) and I was "told" that they were just bought but he just never put them in.....when I bought the car it was knocking something fierce so I rebuilt the bottem end and thats when I relized they were not the right wrist pins I know the pistons are stock size (there not for bigger bore) and the rods are correct for the engine....The guy seemed to talk alot of s*** so I don't really trust much he had told me so I have just been redoing everything that was half assed on the car and then I will worry about forging the engine....I will most likely just order some good wiesco pistons when it comes time....the bottem end is fresh and i'm only running 6-7 pounds of boost and i'm happy with that for now lol......the engine bay needs cleaned up first in my opinion, it looks like frankinstien under there LOL

Yea i feel your pain somewhat not to your extent but i ought my spicy about 8 months ago and as im just now getting into working on it im realizing the guy befor me stripped alot of bolts and half assed alot of things he did

I do'nt know why ppl do that stuff.....It's either take your time and do it right or leave it to someone who will.....damn near all the wires under my hood have been cut and just black tape holding them together...it's insane, so I have been soldering and heat shrinking like crazy fixing all that crap....the turbo to mani was held on with one stud, the other three were snapped off....3 out of 5 studs on the downpipe were broke off but only one nut holding that one.....the S pipe and J pipe were half ass welded together....the exhaust pipe was cut near the oil pan and had a 3" pipe half ass welded to "repair" the exhaust......but the extirior was super clean, minus the hood being half ass painted and common rock chips in the bumper, but thats in the process of being repainted....and the interior is super clean...and I got a great deal on the car so all in all i'm happy with what I got, I just have my work cut out getting it back in shape

Hey guys i just wanted to let all of you know that 2.0t03speed has been helping me alot with my build practically spoon feeding me everything cause i don't know a lot about cars as Ive posted on the forum a couple times lol (IM LEARNING THO) but i just wanted to thank him for everything that he and the guys at signature products will be doing for me and i recommend them in the highest regards to any future work you plan on doing in the future the customer service is unbelievable its just like chatting with your buddy they are there to help you accomplish the build that YOU want not try and sell you whatever they can shove under your hood lol I am buying a motor from them and they will be building it completely, Then 2.0t03speed will be coming over and helping me pull my motor and put the new one. there will be lots of updates and pics so stay tuned. And you guys can see the craftsmanship on signature products i will see if 2.0t03speed can get some pics of the build in progress before it get to me so you guys can see some work in progress. So again i thank signature producs and check them out for any future build. Best prices your going to find by far

thanks man!! Before teaming up with Brian all I ever wanted to do was help the protege community out. Now I'm able to do that in a bigger way then I ever thought possible.
