Mishimoto Mazda Protege Radiators ('01-'03) now available!

They've definitely sold a few of those...
So the Mishimito is a dual core, single pass Radiator? Just confirming. Thanks for the explanation :)

Yes, the Mishimoto Protege radiator is a dual core single pass design....no problem...thanks for the interest!

crap, wish i saw this before i bought the corksport radiator. it's a gorgeous radiator, just a little thick for my setup causing some fitment issues with my intercooler piping. plus the mishimoto is cheaper and comes with a nice rad cap.

PM me your full shipping address and I can get an exact quote...otherwise, it has run around $20....pretty amazing for the size of the box and all!

I'm going to bump this because they have made a fan kit that is supposed to fit DIRECTLY to the radiator.

here is a picture of it.. I am supposed to get the fan kit in one week.. I will update with very detaild pictures..

Thanks!

I am sorry, I didn't know, I should have liked to support a vendor... I make a point of looking here before..

It was an E-Bay find..

i have the radiator and fans + shroud! everything fits well and no more overheating :)

Hey..no problem.....just wondered where you found it.

Anyway, let us know how it fits!

I wanted to follow up.

The Parts are Solid and Well Priced

The Shroud will NOT fit a GT-30.... No Way....
It Might not even fit a GT-28/5

The turbo sits 7mm from the rad, the shroud is like 27mm plus the fans.

I decided to have the shroud welded to the front, I undid the 10mm nut that holds the fan on, flip them over, and reversed the polarity. The motor spins backwards, but the fan blades are correct.

The Shroud was welded by welding six 2cmx1cmx1cm blocks, Three at the Top and Three at the bottom.

I used insulation foam (Draft Stopper) to seal the 4 sides.

It Cools Like A CHAMP.

Mishimoto just needs to show off those pictures of Brian's MP5T to sell more radiators. Awesome.

If installing this on an MSP, do I need new radiator hoses? Or will the MSP ones fit?
