radiator%20pics%20002.jpg

These radiators are made to fit in any of the 01-03 Mazda Protege OE mounting locations. They are definitely an upgrade from OE with all aluminum construction, dual core, and a Mishimoto radiator cap! Fitment into the MSP is possible with relocation of the intercooler (or FMIC). These do not have provision for auto tranny cooling. Any questions about fitment please PM!

$255 with free shipping

Also Mishimoto radiators for other applications and accessories available, just PM

Thanks!
Tom

Not sure if the mounting points of the 00-01 Protege radiator are the same as 01-03. If they are then this would fit!

When you are ready to order a radiator please PM your shipping info and I will PM you the paypal info.

Thanks in advance for purchasing from Doc B Racing "the developer of the Mishimoto Radiator for the Mazda Protege"!

That's not bad I was gonna drop 3 bills on a corksport one but I like this one better im gonna get one ill pm when im ready

thats fine im getting a price range. im building a stock engine w/ bolt-ons for autocross in NC.

got a question. is this taller then the msp overall? i think msps are like 13inch tall and these are 17? isnt that a problem for fitment on the msp?

i will need further pics due to me seeing a pic of 1 of these. i seen pics of the radiator upclose and im not impressed. the welds are questionable and looks like a novice did it. the fins dont run the full length of the radiator. this is from a consumers point of view.

Gee, I don't know...everyone that has seen the radiators so far has been quite impressed. The one I have pictured above is the original prototype so I'm not sure if the welds are any better or worse than the production units. You can see some pics of the production radiator in the other thread about post #405.

The MSP has the same mounting points and radiator support as the sedan, so if you move your intercooler to a FMIC then this radiator fits just fine. You just need to get a pair of the sedan or P5 top radiator brackets.

any rad and fan combo's?

Mishimoto is in the process of redesigning their fan shrouds so even though they plan to have a specific one for this radiator it will be a bit before it is produced. You can either order the universal fit fan shroud from Mishimoto or get the sedan specific one from AWR. The universal will need some adjustment to fit, the AWR shroud should fit but have not actually done so yet...

ill look at some different pics. the guy i usualy buy from recieved 1 of these and took pics of all round and insie the fittings and i didnt like what i seen. if it has been fixed i will buy 1 in a heart beat!
