Bluetooth/ Blackberry freezing issues

All of a sudden, my bluetooth is misbehaving. I haven't had any trouble up until last week, but now whenever my Mazda and Blackberry connect, my entire audio system freezes up and the buttons on my steering wheel don't work at all. I have deleted and re-paired twice, checked all the settings on my Blackberry and can't figure it out.

I stopped in at Mazda on the weekend and they didn't have a clue but said something about the module. I'm going back today for a longer diagnostic appointment but would like to be armed with more information. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I've used 2 different BlackBerrys with mine without issue for the past few months. A bad sync really shouldn't freeze up the whole system, so it does sound like an issue with the car. I would let the dealership look at it.

I can't seem to get it to make outgoing calls anymore.
incoming is fine, but outgoing, the car thinks it's dialing, but the BB has already exited from dialing screen back to home.

this happens with both a BB Tour & Torch. I've also repaired a few times.

Connect your BB to the BB desktop and see if there is an update on your OS.
