What have you done to your MSP today?

Theres a guy here locally selling a few miscellaneous MSP parts and they came off an MSP with 30k on it.. He's got seats and my seats have seen better days, so probably going to pick them up...

and once again if it isn't one thing it's another with this freaking car!!!! Snagged an EGR valve and swapped them out. Same issue, no improvement and on my way home, I blew a heater core hose. FML

i've done it before. It's funny i've broken this car down so many times and theres pretty much only two things that are going to piss me off when i start the car up. A. if i have a exhaust leak B. if these new injector seals are leaking with my 505. You would figure as many times as i've had my 505 on and off i should be able to get the injectors to seat perfectly lol.

How much would turning ability go down if I go to a 275 in the front than a 245 or would it be not that much different.

just hit 160,000 on the OD

OH and I forgot to mention, it's all still original drivetrain

heater hose fixed. car sounds like it's cammed while idling sometimes. Sounds kind of cool, but definitely not what I want to hear since I have nothing that results in a loping idle.

Sway bar bushings. My car was squeaking bad and I put it up on a lift and the bushings were completely torn. I greased them up and its currently ceased the squeaking until I can get around to replacing them. That would be my guess

I actually replaced the bushings with the ones Evolv recommended when I installed the bracket. Possible that I didn't use enough/proper kind of grease?

replaced and gapped spark plugs, replaced wires and coilpacks and the car runs worse and now the CEL is blinking. Im seriously about to give up on this damn car and part it out. With all the money Ive dumped on this car over the past two months, Im getting no where. I am seriously on the edge with this car and about 2 seconds away from saying **** and throwing a brick through the windshield. I might...just might send it to a friends shop to get fixed tomorrow. Im sick of dealing with it.

you are not parting out

it's going to the shop tomorrow. If nothing gets done, Im not spending another dime on the car seriously. As much as I don't want to do it, I can't keep spending what little money I have on it. So, a part out will happen if progress isn't made at the shop. Im still in between jobs since I am no longer active duty and pretty much no one is hiring right now. Not even near minimum wage jobs are hiring. My only solid option right now is going to school full time and the Army will pay for it along with a monthly allowance that I can pocket.

Need a regular msp intake mani?

I have one, but I didn't spend 850 bucks on this manifold just to put a stock manifold back on. The car runs now, but has a random misfire and an o2 sensor heater circuit low voltage.

well, just had a pretty good convo with 505 on facebook. Hopefully I'll make some progress soon.

Did you see my post yesterday? Have you ruled out the IAC? A bad IAC could act like a severe vacuum leak, especially at idle or when throttling down to stop at a traffic light, for example. I had a similar problem a couple of years ago, and went through the whole EGR, coilpacks, wires, vacuum lines, manifold studs and gasket, fuel rail and o-rings, maf, and all with no meaningful effect. Replaced the IAC, reset the ECU, and my car ran perfectly. jus' sayin'.....
