The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

For those not running stand alones, it's not all that hard to pass emissions:

Step 1: do whatever the **** you want
Step 2: make sure you have one good CAT installed
Step 3: when in line for the test, use your code scanner and clear all codes
Step 4: your car shows up as "not ready" and they toss it to the rollers/sniffer test
Step 5: Celebrate

Or, stop driving pile of s*** cars that can't pass emissions....

And "Well, it's modified so much...." isn't an acceptable excuse either. There are plenty of cars, modified the right way, that can pass emissions!!!

Orrr, your JDM motor didn't come with emissions crap. Derrrr. :p

My catless P5 passed. It didn't have a CEL so they just rolled it in and out in 5 mins. :)

Standalone, tunable ECU's are gay? That makes sense.

standalones sound lonely...piggy backs, now that sounds gay.

What about running a system in parralell? It's not like mazda gave protege owners much choice.

I don't even know what those are/what it means to have one! I just know everyone whacks their pud to them like they're the end all, be all mod!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

(hump) (humpleg)

But seriously, they are pretty awesome. A lowly 1.6 Miata with one is a completely different car than one without.

I'm trying to think if you can register cars to PO Boxes.

Hmm...Is it possible to live somewhere and only have a PO box? If so, what do those people do?

You're technically homeless then if you can't provide a street address of some sort of where you stay

That's what I've got for my P5, Will. Well for a Probe GT, not a Miata, of course. :D

That makes sense. Perhaps it would be enough to provide the PO Box as the mailing address and your actual address as a physical address?

I dunno, my cars pass emissions. I hate having the morons at the e-check place touch my car though.

It's on my wish list. 949 Racing sells them for $800 though :( because of that it's not very high on said list.

This is the best thing I've read all week. Thanks, SO MUCH for that (rlaugh)

Yeah, no kidding. Not like my stuff is expensive, but the one retard about jumped the 626 off the rollers because he couldn't drive stick.
