S'all good. I actually want the double din you showed me. It was in that Miata I just posted pics of. This above is Circuits car, brushed vinyl with CF sides. I've talked to Justanothermp5 about doing this for me since he has the stuff.

yeah, my only concern is how the CF vinyl will look between my CF glovebox cover and guage surround. Curious if the CF vinyl could be cleared and give the same effect

you can get shiny CF Vinyl. This is real CF vinyl not vinyl that looks like CF.

yeah I got that at my local JDM rice shop that makes decals...its pricey though, but I wasn't about to put fake CF on my car with all the real CF on it lol.
Side note, since I have you here...do you know if the mazdaspeed protege and the regular P5 would be able to interchange their oil caps between valve covers?
I think so but I'm about to buy one and want to be sure lol

Of course, the P5 and the MSP have the same engine. Lots of people put MSP caps on their P5.

Amanda, those caps are anodized. You could remove the MS piece in the center, most likely a metal sticker, spray the oil cap with oven cleaner to removed the anodizing, then paint it yourself and reapply the sticker

Well....interesting day yesterday. Got a call from my wife yesterday during lunch that my MSP lip arrive. Cool beans. Finish work, on the way home get a call from my wife that our daughter's gymnastics class was canceled for the day so she is heading home. 10 mins down the road I get another call that the Mazda3 is broken down and they are stranded about 1 mile from our house. I rush to get there and let them take my car back home. I realize the clutch is toast and it won't budge. I can put it in 1st, let off the clutch and it won't even hesitate like it's trying to stall. I get a friend and his truck to meet me with the car trailer. After some redneck engineering and a lot of car/truck hopping, we get my car to the shop to drop it off for the night. I got finished and got home around 11pm. The MSP lip is in great shape and is currently sitting on my spare bumper so it can regain its form after being in a box. May install it tonight if I have the time.

In other news, this JVC may be in my P5 within the next 2 weeks
