What have you done to your P5 today?

sadly nothing, stuck with end-term work
**** my life until june 5th

Where are you studying that ends June 5th? I've been off since the end of April...

Today I (temporarily) fixed my A/C, it wasn't working on fan speed 3. Simply cleaning the switch's contacts fixed the problem.

Done! im happy with how it looks... not too flashy or rice.
has a little more flake then i would like (hard to tell in pic) but brake dust will cover most of it up anyways

looks real good. im thinking of doing mine black. what kinda paint did you use?

BikingPro5 Inspired me to remove my side molding. It provides a much cleaner look. After removal and cleanup, I washed her and took some pics. One afternoon this week I will be wet-sanding and buffing some areas like the side molding location, headlights, and spoiler.

been wanting to do this. how hard was to remove the glue etc? lol

cleaned inside of mines this weekend. cleaned the tb. ended up needing a new gasket there was literally none when i took the tb off.

tried to change out the egr valve but cant find a way to get anything down there to loosen up the bolts :/ even my bro attempted and nothing. its frustrating the hell out of me.

Still working on that part. The molding itself was really easy, it's a heavy duty rubber material and once you get once side started, you can pull it off easily. I goo-gone'd the crap out of the tape and it's there. It's just going to take lots of goo-gone and friction. I was using paper towels which were falling apart, once I get the rag out it will do the trick. Lazy painters left a build up of paint around the molding so I need to wet-sand and buff the transitions.

Take a trip to the local auto body supply place and get the "wheel" that 3M makes. It is a foam-like material and goes in a drill and just rolls the old two-sided tape and adhesive right off. As I recall they aren't cheap but way less labor intensive than other methods.

Sounds worth it. Thanks!

Rolled over to 111,111 :D
I took that same picture too

WAIT! Just realized you're doing 110 MPH and taking pictures...HOLY CRAP!!! Looks like you're getting close to the redline too

I've got a BS CEL that comes on and off. "Control runner circuit High" No real clue what needs fixing but it runs like a champ and if it turns itself off from time to time, can't be too bad

x2 its annoying

and cool thx for the info on the moldings. maybe i do that this weekend.

im trying to find a way to remove the egr valve attempted with my bro this weekend and nothing happened lol :/

Why are you having problems, Rico? Just with the two long bolts that go through the EGR block? I used a 1/4' wratched and had to grind down a 10mm (IRRC) socket to get my friends of his MSP. But it's a pretty basic system down there. Of course, it's easier when you have lady hands like mine. haha
