Pablo's 2004 MSM Build

tests from Grass Roots put them very close to star specs on dry and better than star specs on the wet, on the forums MSM owners report they are a great tire, quiet, very responsive and good grip. Biggest complaint is that they take a couple of runs to warm up during auto-x, thread is 340, we'll see how long they last

and yeah, I had them delivered at work. people were giving me crap about them... most of them didn't see me hauling them from the lobby to my cube

How are you going to get them home in the MSM? Definitely not in the trunk!

Very nice. I used to transport my track wheels/tires in the passenger seat.

haven't updated this in a while... got a couple of things in the mail, LOC and brake master cylinder. I plan to modify the LOC to try and get rid of the double amplification with my Alpine HU and the BOSE system, this should eliminate the extra noise I get now and allow me to upgrade to the Clearwater 2 ohm speakers eventually without any issues.

Whyyyyyy? Just bypass the Bose amp. I can guarantee that Alpine unit has better signal processing capabilities than the Blows amplifier.

Also, the regular Clearwater 4 ohm speakers are cheaper by 80 bucks. You can by a nice 2 channel amp for that 80 bucks and have a way better sounding setup than this Frankenstein mess you are talking about.

still an option, just don't want to run new wiring and if I do that, I'd take the bose amp out (I'm weird like that)

picked up the trailer for my non existent race tires... included everything I needed so there is now a hitch on the car, had to take it off Marc's car first, install wasn't too complicated. It completely hides away, and no need to cut the bumper

but your ready! looks great! by the way, got the short shifter in....incrediable difference!

spent quite some time working on the car today, installed the converter for the trailer lights, washed, clay bar, etc...

After talking to Marc yesterday, I decided to learn the dynamics of the car before taking it to the track so I'll be doing autox this year and feel more comfortable with it. I ordered a few goodies instead of the bar, we'll see when they start coming in.

Hmm, I missed those trailer pics. I asked my friend to send me some pics of his. I don't remember if he built it himself, but it also has accommodations to carry extra wheels to the track. We could certainly modify yours to do that as well.
