Pablo's 2004 MSM Build

never mind then, I have rubbing issues right now so your setup won't be any better. I'm not planning to lower it any time soon, maybe next year

got my antenna replacement today, I'll have time to install it on Saturday

I bought the Beatrush lower bronze bushing for mine from Rev9 when I replaced the boots. While it did help I still feel the shifter is looser than in any of my other cars (including my '81 RX-7 with all original parts). I haven't missed any shifts but then I have had LOTS of experience! I am planning on getting the MiataRoadster unit at some point just to see how it does (all the Nancies on M.net that say the throws are short enough have never had a true short shifter I'm guessing).

Installed the antenna and the mbc, 10lbs of boost feels good :) This picture might not be the best, but I like how it looks. Took it through the car wash and didn't leak

haven't updated this in a while... got a couple of things in the mail, LOC and brake master cylinder. I plan to modify the LOC to try and get rid of the double amplification with my Alpine HU and the BOSE system, this should eliminate the extra noise I get now and allow me to upgrade to the Clearwater 2 ohm speakers eventually without any issues. And after troubleshooting and bleeding the brakes again, it got worse so I'm replacing the master cylinder in hopes of having normal miata brakes. One of the rear calipers might be seized, but we'll see what happens after I replace the MC, now my pads will be unevenly worn and I'll have to replace them soon...

As uneven as a millimeter or two. Pull the pads and find out if they truly are uneven or not. Don't buy s*** you really don't need to buy.

How many stars difficulty is the master cylinder? And how many hours should it take? Like I said, Peach, tomorrow is a full day of engine swapping with Anthony for me but you can come over and wrench and I'll let a hand when needed.

the master clinder doesn't look to bad 2 brake lines and 2 bolt that hold thMC to the brakebooster. we just need to bleed again.

MC has been changed, the whole thing (including an oil change) took 2 1/2 hours. Brakes are much better, and for what I remember of Phens car they could be a little better. I didn't pull the pads but the car pulls to the right when you brake hard, and the caliper seems to be fine. The first 3 or 4 times I stepped on it the ABS didn't kick in, but after a couple more tries it did, good thing the road was wet. A little air came out while bleeding the fronts, maybe something moved around with the ABS. I'll bleed them again tomorrow, I think a few more bubbles will surface.

I can almost do a perfect heel and toe, but it's a great improvement from what it was, maybe a new set of pads and another bleed will help, I'm not in a hurry though, I can stop as it is.

Got a bleeder tool for the MC in case anybody ever needs it, pretty simple to use:
