had this screw in the tire from last summer season and forgot about it. lost it this last weekend and been trying to figure out how to fix it since. i tried this Green slime which seemed to work and hold pressure in the carport, but after going from a drive, failed. twice..
so before i head to the tire shop and get laughed at, is this too close to the sidewall for some kind of plug? guestimate a 1/8 self tapping screw made this hole.

Anyone here using GTX gears? Are they really an upgrade and should I even bother getting them? Im taking the tranny apart either way and unfortunately PAR gears are way out of my budget and as far as I know no one really offers gears for that transmission anymore unless its custom.
I don't think they are much of an upgrade personally but i'm not a G15M expert.Anyone here using GTX gears? Are they really an upgrade and should I even bother getting them? 2 fingers wide(from the sidewall) was Merchants tire policy.hopefully it works out. im rolling on winters in the mean time. really dont wanna buy a new tire for a fricken screw. then the other 3 be a different size. though i guess i could just rotate it a bunch to get them close. these tires were 80% new last year when i took them off.

Just order these, plenty of members have (including me) and the shipping is fast.
As stupid as it sounds I have been wanting another Protege for a DD lately, I really only want a clean, low mileage blue MP3 for cheap.
And I am very happy with my clutch after adjusting the pedal yesterday, it engages fully now when I normally press the clutch and doesn't grind at all while shifting. Seems to help with some of the chatter but that's not going away until I replace the clutch eventually.
would be switched ignition. same one IIRC as the radio. So got a quick question. Need to know what wire to tap for my boost gauge so it turns red at night. Like a wire that only gets power when my headlights are on
There is a bolt on the firewall with a lock nut, loosen the lock nut (12mm I believe) and tighten the bolt in a few turns, then tighten the lock nut again. Then you adjust the pedal stopper to allow for enough 'free play' in the pedal. I can feel it fully engage before I hit the bottom of the pedal travel.how and where do you adjust the clutch pedal?
That's weird I used to drive a P5 and my insurance was within $5 a month difference between the P5 and MSP.I got a blue p5 to dd, wagon = cheaper insurance
