Looks good Brian.. least its not snowing while the cars on the flat bed.
******* tell me about it...
It's going to be nice to have the garage empty so I can wash down the floor and set up my parts on 3 folding tables like normal.
I try to get the parts in order of how they will go on, I guess a bit like a doctor doing surgery..
I do the same thing with tables, but luckily i have lots of room in the garage to work around and no cars park in it during the winter..
but we also had about 8" of snow fall last night/this morning so looks like i have a bit more time to get the car done before the spring..
as for what i did to the car.. I coated the floor inside and out with chassis saver paint (better then POR15), hopefully this is the last time i have to fix rust on my floors..
With the kind of work you do, materials you have, equipment you receive, and cars you own, that is absolutely necessary! The cameras are really good for when Fed Ex Drops parcels off witout signature.. I would at least know who took stole the box from my house.
This is my workspace...
i've read through that when doing research for sound deadening a few weeks ago.... but at $16 for 6in x 25ft it was worth the hassle
i dont have a subwoofer (yet) but i do have motor mount inserts which gave me a lot of vibration and a lot of rattles.... and even though i did a half assed job and didnt even use all of the peel and seal, my doors do not sound weak when i close them anymore... they sound like wooden doors!
for the price and my application (never going to get a huge sound system) i think its well worth it. and i would recommend it for anyone that just wants a quieter ride like newer cars
