replaced said parts and the car is running like a champ again
That was my concern... And room constraints... But from the picture, it's clocked correctly...I could be wrong, but I don't think it will be pointed the right way. Got any pics?
Yeah, it'll work. It's clocked right. I'm aware I'd have to fab that up. I can do all that at the shop. We were trying to come up with a way to make the downpipe ourselves at the shop, but everything we came up with would have been ugly and probably not flow too well. I figure I can get that downpipe and if, for some reason, it doesn't work I'll just sell it to one of the 5,000 240sx owners I know. The 240sx is the new Honda Civic...that looks like it will work but you will need to fab up some extra pipe to go from that three bolt flange to the j pipe
Has done what? Used the S13 downpipe? What POPE DP did you get Mike?Stealth has done that.
Has anyone tried an S13 2.75" GT25 downpipe for a custom setup?
I got the fully loaded with the flex/flange option.
Stealth has just the pope casting piece. He then had a shop help custom fab the rest
WHAT is the casting piece exactly?+1 and it was cheaper then just a downpipe from the pope. Grant it I paid a little less for it then what he is selling it for on his site. I paid roughly 350-400 for a 3" downpipe, 3" catless midpipe with gaskets INSTALLED.
A completely unusable cast???WHAT is the casting piece exactly?
It's form of manufacturing? Or it is a cast? The casting that is being referred to is the Pope Downpipe that is a stainless steel casted piece designed for the protege.
found the culprit. My primary o2 connector melted because it started slightly rubbing against the MAM manifold since the damn o2 bung is on the side. A little bit of metal is exposed which probably shorted it out. Also found a blown fuse which according to the diagram on the manual is for the ECU. So, looks like Im about to buy a new o2 sensor and a fuse. Bad thing is the sensor connector is melted to the connector for the rest of the harness.
