AC High pressure hose is leaking!

While I was under the car changing the oil today I made a discovery I did not need to find. The high pressure AC hose is leaking. First oil leak of any kind on my car. Just went over 40,000 miles. I sure hope this thing is not going to start nickel and diming me. Went to Onlinemazdaparts.com. The thing is going to cost $100.57.

How do you know it is leaking?


On the AC system a leak will be a oily spot with dust and dirt on that spot. Unless it is at a connection where two hoses connect you will have to replace the hose. If it is a connection you could replace the o ring. But if the area is corroded you need to clean all that up.
