drove a CX-5 today, it's a nice car but the tranny is not very smooth when downshifting. As you brake, you can feel the downshift, both on auto an manual, other than that I really liked it.
On the other hand, service at Montrose keeps getting worse. Sales people have no ******* clue what they're doing, they guy told me the CX-5 had a V6 engine... no idea about the trims, options, packages or price. What a joke, I honestly can't tell anybody to go there.
As for the bimmer, I was told that no parts need to be replaced. It does need an alignment but it hasn't been done in a very long time, they said they would try but there's a lot of rust and dirt so something might break. A new set of tires should fix most or all of the shaking and stuff. Also said there are some leaks under the car, will have to take it to Marcs and see what exactly is leaking. Oh, and someone stole the car cover last night, I was a little surprised when I went out this morning and didn't see it. I improvised a patch for the top, we'll see if it still leaks but I don't feel like buying another cover for it.
