Blow off valve maintenance

I purchased my car with a blow off valve already installed, hovewer there is very bad fluttering( I have the turbosmart dual port bov) I plan on adjusting it, but i heard lubrificating the piston in a good idea also(Jigalube/graphite lube) was suggested. To lube the piston, do I need to remove the 3 screws on the bottom and remove it from the flange, take it apart and clean it?or is it possible to do while still attached on the piping? I know the question is stupid, but it is my first car-_- Thanks guys!

the sound it makes at low rpm, it flutters alot(flutter dump) i just need to adjust my bov, its like this:

Lol it sounds nice at 1:54 and 1:56 you sure its not just bypassing air? is that a p5? that steering wheel looks like a mazda 3 steering wheel same with the dash

the vid is a mazdaspeed 3, but my p5 does the same thing, i read up on a mz3 forum from this guy's post, so i know it can be somewhat regulated by adjusting and lubing, my basic question remains just about the maintenance

Lol ya idunno what to say about that i would be carfull adding lube into a Bov it might mess it up. I would first off just try adjusting it I know my greddy Bov has a hex key screw right on top that you just loosen to adjust it. I have a turbosmart sitting in my garage though ill take a look at it cuz last time i looked seems like it dosent have any sort of adjuster on it.

i know mine has an adjustment screw at the top(it has arrows in both directions indicating harder/softer, im just glad i have a scre and don't have to mess around with spacers to adjust spring hardness!

Just unscrew all the blue thing but be careful it has a spring inside that push the blue handle.Just clean the piston and the interior of the BOV and lube with air tool oil.Thats it.

If you find it still flutters it could be the spring set too stiff(people often do this to make a louder "woosh") or even weak vac source to the bov
