What have you done to your P5 today?

Finally got the AAC link kit all bolted up. Front alignment is way off even though I didn't touch it. Could it be from the car sitting on its front wheels since Saturday? Steering wheel is now a 1/4 turn counter-clockwise from center.

when driving? cause the rear alignment can pull the car to one side causing you to correct with the wheel to make the car go straight. It might look funny to other drivers though cause your cars is going straight but looks sidways a little

Yeah when driving. You're the second person to say this, so I'll take it as that. Permanent drift while driving! LOL. Getting an alignment tomorrow after I get my wheels on.

Found out the hard way the genuis' at XTD clutch co. use civic flywheel bolts instead of the obvious stock ones ... they are of different thread pitch. WHY?!
no new bolts. no instructions. blah.
emailed them, we'll see.
And even threaded the bolts like 3 threads before, aaaaannnd they stripped the bolts and flywheel.
anyone know if chromoly can be re-threaded?

Take it to a machine shop and tell them to make the threads bigger and do them all! Nothing worse than having different size bolts going into the same part. I would tell them NOT to do helicoils or anything else like that... See what they say.

Why not do helicoils? If done properly, he'll be left with some damn-strong threads.

Ya I'm not too sold on helicoils.. I think I might just be able to chase the threads clean again, but ill probably have to get a machine shop to look at it to be safe. And yes lol I know to do all of them, balanced flwheel.

normal when changing stuff around. the rear suspension follows the front. so when you installed the aac kit, its all over the place. lol
ever notice when you get an alignment they always do the rear first? thats because the front needs to read what the rear is doing. no surprise you're crabbing all over. lol It'll be so much better after the alignment. :)

soo umm. got aproved for 2k on the bill me later on paypal. coils i can get no prob even have the cash for them but....... I could now get the bags that i keep rambling about lol. decision time now.

coils are easier to install but when low, have to crawl up driveways and such. (which i dont mind at all) and handle better.
bags are harder to install but you can raise it up to get up that steep driveway. lol

coils are cheaper
bags more expensive

so weigh the pros and cons of each then make your choice.

big thing for me is the getting thru places , all these bumps here and random roads

install eh no biggie have people that will help so wont take long.

getting thru places lmao. man dont matter i wanna be low. ill go with coils incase i do decide to auto x one day. plus all that extra money i would use on bags can go to coils+more goodies

Here's my HID ballast locations for Low Beams & Fog lights, I converted my P5 fog lights to HID some time ago, and now I'm replacing lows/fogs with 10K blue and installing HID high beams 8K. Also received the AAC Bumper brackets and installing them all at once.
