Off of craigslist, my buddy picked up 12 sheets of steel total. They were only 25$ each, so it was an absolute steal! 6 of them are .172" and 6 are .125", so we'll be fabbing some stuff up for sure! The sheets are huge, 8'x19", and I really underestimated how big they'd be. He brought them home in his 02 Civic lulz. When he showed up at the dude's place the guy is like "where's your truck?"

I really wish I had a plasma cutter now....

I've been there a number of times. While its cool, I get quickly frustrated with the other patrons. It's packed, people are rude. Tradition for me has been every other year... for almost 10 now.

i was thrilled when i saw this... im a big indy car fan. so this is the new car, in the flesh for the next IRL season and will be coming here to Belle Isle

and a little complimentary mazda swag.

im so damn proud to say that mazda and maybach were the only 2 manufacturers to not have a hybrid or electric car thats why i love them.

i also got to ride in a simulator around mazda laguna seca. it was really cool.


overall, fun day and a great experience..

Start planing a trip for next year, It's on my bucket list.

CX-5 looks awesome, brz looks ok but I'd have to see it in person. A mazdaspeed 2 would be cool but I think they'd have to be able to price it around 18-20k and not with the ms3 engine. The falcon looks pretty bad ass. Thanks for the pics AJ!
