Need opinions on 2012 Mazda3 Hatch

Hello,

I'm interested in getting the new 2012 Mazda 3 5-door and wanted some opinions.

Below is the build I made through the Mazda website. For such build, what would be a good price to offer the dealer?

In terms of storage, with the rear seats folded down, does the back fit a large mountain bike with the front wheel removed?

I ha an 06 Mazda 3 and had no issues putting a mountain bike in the hatch with the seats folded down. We had to sell it due to it's storage restrictions, once we had our second child we found that with a large stroller and 2 kids we had no room for groceries so we upgraded to an 09 Mazda 6. Now our girls are old enough that we don't need the stroller so we just sold the 6 and bought a 3 2012 Sport GT-E in Indio Lights and just awaiting it's delivery.

The moral of my story is if you have young kids you may find it's storage limited, if you don't have kids it will meet most of your needs. You can always buy a roof rack anyways for the bike.

The price seems on par for what they go for.

Sorry bud, I don't have the 2012 yet as i am still awaiting the delivery (may arrive tomorrow) so I can't answer either of your follow up questions. It was an 2006 6 Mazda 3 that I had the bike in but I have no pics. What I can say is that it did fit, it wasn't the easiest fit but I was in none the less. The road noise in the 06 wan't great but it was offset by the "fun to drive" element.
