How much did you pay for your Mazda2?

Sport or touring? $16K after everything for a touring would be a steal I think.

edit- Oh, just noticed your fuelly sig. $16k after everything for white pearl and an auto on the sport is a good deal too, I think. Awesome that you didn't have to pay anything out of pocket.

I was playing around on Carmax.com yesterday. There were 2 Sport autos on the site. One with 10K miles and the other with 2K miles. Both cars were over $16,000, and I'm sure you're not getting 0% apr from Carmax. So $16K brand new is a great deal.

Bravo sir. Is the $16,300.00 with or without destination charge?

With, I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that the owner of the dealership gave me his Ford plan which saved me about 1000 bucks either way I was happy. I expected to be paying around 20,500 out the door when I saw the sticker price but it helps to do some talking.

after checking several dealers in houston only 2 had 2's. and both dealers only had white sport autos. but one wanted to charge me a few hundred more so i went with the first dealership. not to many 2's in houston that i know of but hey. i feel special :P

i was looking at fit's since i was possibly getting another one but they raised the price from 16k (how much my 2011 fit had cost) to 19k! i couldnt believe honda was asking that much for base models.

Can't remember exactly but its around $1900ish with all the extended warranty, GAP etc for my Pearl White MT Touring

Wow. I'm astonished by the $13,500 prices!! The best I can find is $14,191 on truecar.com which includes destination. I would REALLY like to hit under $14,000, if anyone can help or refer me to a solid dealership in California (or else where?) it'd be much appreciated, I'm ready to purchase by the end of the month! (drinks)

Should be no problem. I paid 15 out the door (includes some 9% tax and 2 something reggie and plates, etc).

Edit: 4 the Sport Model in Blavk

Please remember to indicate Sport or Touring, manual or automatic, and any options/accessories. Just giving numbers doesn't help much without knowing exactly what you bought.

2011, Touring, 5 speed. Only added option was the armrest. I paid around $16,400 but that included the added cost ($700) shipping the car up from California. I also talked an extra $500 onto my trade-in, which was quite amusing. The car they located already had tint and "hydrogen" in the tires, which is pretty silly. Whatever, just finding a touring manual in red was hard enough. It was a "fair" deal.

2011 Sport 5 speed

was quoted an Internet price of 13,900.

after much negotiation, $15,600 out the door with free tint. I put $2000 down for 0% APR financing deal.

When I went to the finance department to close the deal, I was scammed into an extended warranty for an extra $2000. ("If you put a few dollars extra towards your payments, we'll through in extra maintenance coverage for free")

Took the dealership 2 months to refund the $2000 for the extended warranty.

So, in the end, $15,600 paid.

I wanted a touring 5 speed, but none were available in silver.

Hydrogen....or Nitrogen? I would not want Hydrogen in my tires...it is highly flammable...rember the Hindenburg. (boom06)

Mazda2 Sport 2011 (new), Manual Transmission, White
$11400 after $2500 trade-in of my 2000 Mazda Protege (probably worth less than $2500).

I got my 2011 Touring manual for 15,600 (before tax, title, tags, etc.) after a $500 rebate from Mazda. Plus 0% financing. I tried going to 3 local dealers and none of them had any Touring manual cars, and only one offered to try to find me one. The local dealer finally found exactly what I wanted, but he said since they had to drive 200 miles to get it I would have to pay around $2,500 over sticker! I laughed and walked away, went home, got on Mazda's website and found the car they were trying to sell me, and drove the 200+ miles and bought the car for almost $3,000 less than the local dealer priced it. Everything worked out good, but the local dealership wasn't exactly thrilled about doing the first service for free. XD
