yeah those doors are flippin sweet!! ive been meaning to make my plaid/flannel shift boot but just havnt done it yet
started polishing my extra valve cover. (only an hour put into that)
once i put this one on, il do my stock cover and sell it here!
lemme know what you think, or any tips would be nice

The piece inbetween 1 and 2 will rotate. The inner race will stay stationary, and the outer race will stay stationary, once installed.
Looks good! I need to polish mine. So how long did it take to disassemble the cover? You said only an hour and you were able to do the cam covers? I almost don't wanna take the time to do mine if it means I won't have a vehicle for a day.
How much do you plan to sell yours(once it's polished for)?

I've been screwing with wheel bearings myself lately. Not on my P5, but on my BMW, so my mind is in bearing visualization mode.
looks like you need to do some more sanding with a finer grit before you hit it with the polish.
this, before i polished mine the last grit i was using was 2500 wet. polishing is similar to paint prep its all in the first steps to get a good finish.
