Jay is the AI director for NASA GL and a Hawk Brakes distributor, he gives our folks discount prices on pads and knows his way around brkes. Go to one of his brake seminars, you will come out knowing more about brakes than you ever thought!

Woooooo! Got the 626 back! I'm not happy at all that it got to sit outside for the last two weeks, though. Got new rust starting, I hate Ohio. It feels so weird after getting used to driving the Miata for the last few weeks.
 
Whoo-hoo indeed! Time to go for a drive with the vents set to full swing.
 
working 3rd shift is hard to get used to. only 2 more months! I may not have my car for the cook out, depends on how long the body shop takes but I'll definitely have it for mid-ohio
 
You still have the miata Wes? I wish my school money came in sooner. Went yesterday to look at a Kawasaki Z1000 that was posted the day before and when I got there it was already sold. Guess it wasn't meat to be :(

Yeah I could only give you a down payment to hold it for me for another week, the come out there, give you the rest of the cash, and give you the rest of the cash.
 
corey you gotta do that, so once my car is on the rrack for a couple days, i can convince you to let me commute in one of your 2 cars ;)

I actually got this email today concerning the ad. It doesn't help me, but I liked it:

"Hey, you wrote a great ad for that 1990 Miata. I've been a small independent used car dealer for 16 years, and have had my own experience with "trolls" etc. I can't really use the car you've got, but your ad describes it so well I had to write and say good job ! You swayed the craigslist BS meter in the right direction.

Best of luck."
 
So why are you selling the Miata again? What happened to the plan of using it as a track car or SM?
 
Finally got around to editing more pictures and videos from Watkins Glen this past weekend.

Here is the best lap that I actually recorded. Of course the session that I had my best lap I put dead batteries in the camera so it didn't record. Video lap = 2:42.96. Best lap = 2:41.10. I didn't run 6 of the sessions due to rain and if I had those I'm pretty sure that I would've easily been into the mid to high 2:30's. My goal for the weekend was 2:35.
