Looks good so far!

My only concern is if those screws decide to rust up, a philips screwdriver is gonna be a B!TCH to try and break em free vs the old nuts with a wrench and breaker bar. Just $.02, take it or leave it on that

But other than that, looks good!!

Ready to see the rest of your "Dress up" bits installed!!!

yeah, i mean they're stainless... and really...when am I going to need to remove the fenders?
I thought about doing the bolts like these instead:

But it was easier to find the bolts and washers that I used.
It was cheap enough that I can afford to change my mind later on and paint up some like these and replace again lol

I was more or less referring to the screws on the headlights too, but i'm just nuts, i had my headlights off the car half dozen times easy

ohh, yeah. I haven't had to touch them yet thank god *crosses fingers* they are clear as hell and I plan on leaving them the hell alone lol.

*leaving them alone*

I don't know what that means. I pulled both sets on both Proteges apart to paint, polish, then ended up with projector Retrofits! lol

mx-p5: Yeah sometimes i wish i had retrofits but thats a lot of time and $ lol. right now im interested in the brightest, non-blue/illegal regular bulbs i can get for the car, got a little bit of CSS Syndrom - Can't See s***.

HKPRO5: Thanks, hey it means a lot that you stopped by my thread for some +1ing. I would have never done it if i hadn't stumble upon your thread! ^_^

retrofits are not as much time of money that most people believe, they are also really easy to do now with the kits available.

Yup, if you can bake apart your headlights, you can retrofit your own car

And there are companies selling plug and play setups for $250 for everything you need

Trust me, projector retrofit is probably the best mod you can do if you do any night driving

Got my package in the mail the other day :D my iSport carbon fiber stuff!
Installed the spoiler lip with the help of my better half and it looks nice, I really like the stance it gives the car.

Haven't installed the ADP because of sheer laziness lol
The LED's I bought were a fiasco too so scratch that until further notice.
Received my column gauge pod in the mail and just waiting for a nice day to uninstall the gauges from Mark's 3 and install them into my P5 :D

mx-p5 know of anyone selling NA Miata parts?

Contemplating 3M Carbon Fiber vinyl wrapping some interior pieces. Thoughts?
Anyone in here have some experience with the stuff or current pics of their work?

I read up on the 3M Thread in Protege Appearance and there was a lot of tossing back and forth between throwing a light clear coat on it or not, and I'm up in the air with whether or not I like the dry carbon look.

Open to suggestions as always! :D

Heres a bit of what Ive done:

(Dont mind the auto-stick, its only temporary ;) )

I also cleared a sample piece at one point. The more coats you apply the more the 'weave' starts to disappear and it just looks black

How hard was is to take off the door handle and window switch pieces? I was thinking of painting those black. Maybe I'd wrap the handle itself though.

I already painted my lidless cupholder and was thinking I'd wrap the piece by the shifter that you left stock gross tan/silverness.
(and don't worry I have failmatic too. I figure it this way when and if the transmission goes...then ill just throw a stick in...but it was hard enough to come by the car to be picky and im only at 49xxx miles so why fix what's not broken?)

Was it hard to remove the whole center radio surround? Did you use a walkthrough? I read some places that its a walk in the park and others say its hell lol.

I think I'm leaning toward doing the A-Pillars since I'll be installing a column gauge pod that's black and is going to throw off my whole swing of things.
