What have you done to your P5 today?

I like your license plate frame. (headbang)

The bumper looks nice, I'd do it, but I don't know how well it would come out on a laser blue.... opinions? or as anyone done it before?

Blew my transmission to s***, and still driving on it. I am taken it into the shop saturday for a motor/trans swap and some suspension work.

fabbed and installed an f-glass/Al sheet gasket for the joint between the header and cat to eliminate a buzz. Replaced the factory bolts with SS per the factory nuts that hold the tension spring in place were frozen beyond the ability of pb blaster, a torch, and a vise to loosen.

I like how it looks but curious to see how long it holds up. I know paint is mostly based on how well you prep the part. But here in Ohio we have harsh winter with salty roads. How long have you guys had them painted and how do they hold up? I would assume since they are on the back there aren't many chips and such.

Does look purdy! I figure out here in Colorado (they use gravel for snow) I'll be repainting bumpers once every couple years anyway.

I painted mine in early 09 and looked just the same last spring when we re painted the car, like you said its all in the prep. We also have crazy salt and sand on the roads in the winter.

Cool, thanks man. Maybe I'll give it a shot this weekend. Your P5 is gorgeous, by the way. I'm very jelly, especially of your hood pins and paint. Keep up the great work, mate. (2thumbs)
