Well i got my car back from the mechanic, he put around 50 miles into my car to make sure it was driving properly. Anyways i was driving back home and everything seemed fine until i reach my town and started driving locally. My car felt like stalling out while at idle and after a while a check engine light came on. So i got my ap and scan the code and this is what i got. PCM P0300 which is Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected, and IC U2064. So can anyone help me determine what could cause this hesitation issue and Cel lighting up????

What did your mechanic do? That might tell us something that would help narrow down the possible reasons for the P0300. The IC U2064 is a non-specific general code that says that something is wrong and usually shows up in combination with another code, in your case, the P0300. Fix the P0300 and the IC code will probably go away.

What did your mechanic do or fix or try to fix? Did it have anything to do with either the spark plugs or the coil packs or ignition wiring?

I will have to check the report summary....

Has your MAFS ever been cleaned ? if not clean it, and reset the ECU (disconnect battery) for a few minutes. See if that solves the problem.

well i took my car back to the dealership and they said that the Catalytic Converters has gone bad in my car.. so let hope this will fix my car woes.
