Let me know how you get those salt stains out, I've used vinegar in the past but I hate the smell it leaves.

I use a cloth that is soaked in boiling hot water. once you lay it on the salt stain it does it things and removes most of it after a few times. Only other way is to use a hot water extractor.

Ordered my Eibach Pro Kit springs to go with my Tokico Blues. Finally, my car is going to look somewhat proper...

next comes the Motegi Traklite's!! Can't wait.

Added DG carbon fiber mirror covers to the exterior. Wife is happy with them, she said they make the hood flow much better with the car. I wonder if she'll fell the same about a carbon fiber grill? lol

I wouldnt dream of using vinegar in these cars. If you have looked under the carpet there is a cheap fabric insulator that holds tons of water as is. Thus the lingering smell.

I have a carpet shampoo machine, Never had an issue with n e of my other vehicles. It shoots hot water+solvent out of it when agitated the salt stains just disappear.

NICE! How much did you pay for the covers?

Paid $55 for them used from another member. Just couldn't justify paying full retail for them.

That's a great combo on the P5. I love it. Add a huge fatty rear sway bar and/or adjustable endlinks if you're going autocrossing. FWD with oversteer FTW!! :D

...oh, and I got my new tires in by UPS tonight. Installation tomorrow, I hope! :-)

^ sweet! I'm super excited. However, I'm a little worried about the drop. Sometimes the Eibach kits can leave your car slightly LA dropped (tad higher in the front). Well this kit do that?

Nope had them before my ground control's.. the eibach's will have the rear alil bit higher

Damn! That does look clean! I was worried I would have to cut a quarter coil off the front or something, but it looks real nice.

Last nite changed my little float fuse holder to a big ass ANL fuse holder for the upcommin audio build this weekend. Installed some alarm sirens as horns (still have stock one) Today I pick up all my painted goodies!

Jay- is your current P5 the same one in your sig? I are confused.

Ivan- lolz.

I always feel like I have to at least say what I've "done to my P5 today" when I post up in herr. It would be shorter to post what haven't I done to my P5 today... I've been wrenching everyday for a solid month. heh-heh. I know this car pretty well now.

Used the A/C for the first time since I replaced the receiver/drier. It works but it's not as cold as I'd like. On the highway it was ok but driving through the city it really doesn't get cold enough.

Lewis, the red P5 in my sig I sadly sold a year ago mainly bc of rust issues. a week ago I bought a midnite blue one I am working on.

A/c issues sounds like you need freon. Dont use those cheap small cans they sell @ aut stores in the long wrong it will fuk ur ac system up.
