What have you done to your MSP today?

they would all kind of work together. even with solid mounts you can still get some engine movement. the ETD stops that completely so you'll get crisper shifts and revs.
whats the advantage or disadvantage vs stiff mounts? id assume they have very similar characteristics, although i feel as if the dampener makes idle less vibratey

They might be able to make the brackets but I'd have to source the "Shock" part.
just use a standard 6" shock on fleabay.. I had the weapon-r one.. it broke, sourced a fleabay 6" shock and only difference to me was the way they looked.. al the say. I paid liek 10 bucks shipped for the shock. where weap-r wanted 80 bucks for it.

yeah, they are the same thing haha.

I bought a ETD kit for my S2000 for $60(included bracket and such) and it was a direct copy of an ETD made by J's Racing that costs $270 lol

the only issue with the mounting point is that its putting it on the side motor mount. I'd would do more good if it was mounted elsewhere I would think.

Hey was there not a how to on a grounding kit for our cars? I picked up ucmp3s old grounding kit and need some help on where the wires run. Its one of the ones that go from like point a to b, then b to c, then c to d etc etc. Any help would be great.

how did it feel when you put it on?

Also im guessing you made the engine side bracket yourself?

who made the bracket for you?

Weapon-r did... you guys must of missed when i said my damper broke

Edit: I liked my damper just not the added engine noise transfered through the strut tower... The brackets can be made out of angle iron I imagine.. fairly simple design.

So the noise I've been hearing goes away when I push in the clutch. My dad's thought was a bad throwout bearing... which was just replaced with the new clutch and flywheel. I don't know why the hell that would be going bad again since I was very easy on the clutch when breaking it in. I've got almost 1000 miles on it now.

Could it be the pilot bearing? Did you guys actually replace the clutch, or did a shop do it? Only ask because they could have skipped that part. I have the same noise but I'm on the factory clutch for a few more weeks till I can install my new clutch.

Here's a pic of the grounding kit. The only pics on the howto are for a first Gen protege. I haven't looked through all 13 pages for Pics yet....

I had a shop do it, but they should have replaced it because I bought the Exedy stage 1 clutch kit which included the throwout bearing.
