Does anyone know what this green check valve is or have the part number for it? Mine just broke in half and I'm guessing that I need to replace it.

Thanks

that is the "Vacuum Delay Valve", and its connected to the VTCS system. some will tell you that you wont need to replace it, and that you can remove the VTCS system all together. if you want to replace it to keep your car 100% stock, the part number is 8574-20-309

Lol Thanks man. I planned on keeping the intake mani stock until I got my 505 mani. So I'm going to replace the valve until then depending if its expensive or not. If its expensive I'll just glue mine back together until my 505 mani comes in.

I replaced mine with a Dorman check valve from Advance on my P5, like $3

I put a check valve in place of that delay valve but the car didn't idle or run right so I put it back.

Did you install it correctly? It's a one-way check valve, so if you installed it backwards, it would have that affect on it....
