Edit: personally a bulb is a blub.. ive tried the 5/6 buck oens and teh 40 buck ones and their wasn't much of a difference in my eyes. Now if you were to goto HIDs thats another story.

^^ditto, although I have found that silverstars do not last as long. I was strict to use those for a while and got really tired of replacing, I went to some cheapies and haven't changed them a really long time.

Not around the spark plug holes, just on the last cam caps closest to the cam gears,
if you have a service manual it states in there where/how to apply it
If not, then just lay a small bead down on the outer sides before you put the caps on,
then torque the caps down...thats really the best way I can explain it

Never really had a issue with any brand of light bulbs per say but mine was due to the boot not sealign properly on my old p5.

i also bought a sweet tool (recomended by Shadow102) to blast all the oil/grime from the egine bay. Gotta get rid of all the nasty looking oiil that was leaking from the VC. Might do that before hand
