HOLY CRAPOLA BATMAN!!! What happened? I started reading to see what was going to happen with the lambo door talk and walked right into sexing are cars followed by nothing useful other than laughing my ass off....

I CAN ONLY WONDER WHATS NEXT HAHAHA!!!

I wonder if other threads about lambo doors turn into similar conversations. Although to be honest if talking about lambo doors leads people to stick things in tailpipes i might not want to know the answer to that question.

hahaha, its hard to think of what may come next... soooo what about the suicide doors? anyone seen what those look like on a 3? not gonna lie i have thought about doing that but to much work for nothing special

Adult forum?
With all the youngins asking about underglow, lambo doors, and 'how do I turbo a 3' ?
HAHA I don't think so.

Haha ass, I'm boosting my 3 :p
Lambo doors and underglow on the other hand, hell no! I'm not from fast and the furious or "pimp" my ride haha

Look what I've started...

I have seen suicide doors on a three. they only look good on the back doors. and even then its kinda meh. definetly something youd have to think about.

I think its a style thing.

U can't have a vehicle that handles well and is fast and then throw on lambo doors.

On the other hand, if u have a kitted, bagged, non functional show car, then it is kinda expected and accepted in a way to have over the top mods.

This goes for suicide doors also. To do these mods right u have to reinforce a lot of the door and hinges so they close properly and don't sag. That just doesn't add up for a car that u r trying to go fast in and save weight.

All laughing and funnys aside, there is a time and place for certain mods, and to each their own. I firmly believe that, and can appreciate hard work and good craftsmanship even if it is pure rice!

Its kinda like having a molded bumper or shaved body lines. There is a right way to do it and a wrong way. The right way takes tons of man hours and should never crack out or be noticeable. The wrong way on the other hand...

Just put it this way-- our cars are our expression of our own artistic realm. Others don't have to understand it or like it, but if its something we like then sobeit. Plus its just metal/plastic/filler/ man hours, and it can always be returned to stock.

I havealso hear that any modification u do to ur vehicle should look like it was meant to be there from the get go.
Sometimes I believe this is the case, but then nobody would ever be pushing the envelope on builds and fitment, and we wouldn't have hellaflush(which I would be ok with) but like I said to each his/her own.

And in the meantime, let the jokes continue and have a good time, but there are still people buying kits and s*** from autozone that just absolutely think it is the coolest s*** ever!

Just remember that they prolly think what ur doing is wack also!

Haha speaking of... I saw a guy in a mazda 3 he had all those auto zone decals all over it! And he put on eyelashes.... It was absolutely stupid

Hey don't hate on the zone! Lol. I had a CAI from them till my car was running like s*** and I found a full metal one on ebay for 50$

I didn't want to quote your entire post (re: long, and who am I to talk,) but I do agree with your thinking.
There is a time and a place for every kind of mod. A show car should be a show car. A performance car should be a performance car. A lead sled a lead sled and a muscle car, a muscle car.
We have an older Civic coupe 'round here with one of those two-tiered GT wings added. The owner (I often see a woman driving it) removed the upper wing so there is kind of a "Y" at the top of it. It looks kinda' like cupped hands to me. While I would never do this to my own car, it looks interesting, and I always recognize it no matter where I might see that car. For a while I didn't see it and even so, I thought (to myself) I wonder what ever happened to that Civic?

No. No they are not.
I am originally from eastern Pa. 'Spent nearly 38 yrs of my life there before moving here. I learned to think for myself there, not here.
And I am guessing that you will be even more mentally stifled in Denton than I am in Austin. But even Austin ain't what it used to be.
