What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Got the Cobb AP in, installed stage 1 + SF on 93... Seriously though, not that much of a difference lol.

Damn, well thats disheartening.. would you still say the AP is worth the $600 because of all the useful tools it comes with? and was there any difference at all?

to gauge the AP on an OTS tune is the wrong way of going about it. OTS maps are a good place to start but there is much more to be had with more tuning.

Did you plastidip your WHEELS?!?! hah! actually looks clean! liek matte black style. my only worry would be how durable it'd be on the road... curious if it will last.

Yep. Thanks man...looks amazing. The texture is crazy haha. But from what I've heard & seen, it lasts & holds up pretty well.
On to the pics...

So that's what 18x7.5 with 45 ET with 215s looks like huh? Perfect...I like it a lot. Hope to have pictures with same setup (diff wheel) maybe this weekend.

So...
...much...
...cool...
...wheel stuff...

My head just asplode.

Okay, I've recovered.

First of all, those TSWs look friggin' spectacular. Very, very good choice.

Second, for Phil: I thought you were kidding about Dippin' the wheels, but that looks really good. How many cans did it take to do all four rims? I watched the video on the YouTubes of that kid doing the wheels on his Mk5 and I think he mentioned that it took three cans or so. Accurate?

2 1/2 cans = 3 well covered coats.
I have 1/2 a can left in case I spot any blemishes. I have not found any & neither have my 2 friends that checked 'em out today.
Just ordered some black lugs to compliment the wheels. And to really set it off, I'll get some gold spray paint to match the center caps for the brake calipers.

Subtle yet striking.

I mean, the ap was a gain but I only noticed a slight to nothing increase. Just wasn't as benefical as everyone always said, power wise. Not sure how accurate the 1/4 mille, 0-60and other applications on it are.

Hmmm, time to look for a full turbo back exhaust lol.

What do you guys think

YES!!!! you went with the TSWs. awesome choice! Those look so damn sexy... oh, if you can't tell i like them... a lot. lol You need better pics!! day-time, sunlight showing off the hot hot WWP color with those wheels. btw, how heavy are those? i may be tempted to get those too, but id want a bit more offset, they have em in 8" wide?

aye, like m4tic said... you wont feel crazy power gains until you address our choke points. And its good you went AP first, so you can tune it properly as SOON as you get a DP.
a DP without an immediate tune is murder for our cars. run the mpg map for some nice mileage commutes. haha

Yea the weather was crappy and it was getting towards sunddown. I will take more pics. The wheels weight 18.5 lbs each so thats what 5 lbs less than the factory ones at each corner. Yea there is an 18x8 but the ET was 35 theres also an 18x8.5 ET45 I thought about getting those two but I stuck with these. I can always get a 5-10mm spacer to help a little if I want it more flush.
