ok, after some quick research I found nothing so I'll ask. Is anyone aware of a Master Cylinder brace ever being made for the Protege?

Hmmmm...might have to have my buddy fab one up. I just got one put on my S2000 and the MSP would GREATLY improve from one.

Watch your MC when you have someone else push your brake pedal. It flexes out which causes a loss in brake pressure and pedal feel. Bracing it gives you so much better feel in the pedal and braking starts at the top of the pedal movement and keeps the pedal firm.
I run SS brake lines, have new pads and ATE super blue fluid in my S2000 and with the MC brace installed there was still a huge difference in pedal feel and braking.

Video one shows the amount of deflection measured at the reservior(which has flex in it so actual deflection is greater)

Better brake response by taking out the mushiness in the pedal
