I think I'm going to bow out of this. Things aren't looking good for the RX-7 so I'm going to need to save up and dedicate some weekends.

Bumpdate.... It looks like I might have to cancel this for me. The boss wants to send me back to western Kentucky for that week and I doubt I can make the drive back in time.

Anyone who has Tom's number and mine.. Tell him to call me.

Has anyone stepped up to this? I can help if needed.

I haven't, I can cal him and let him know......I can see if any of the CVMC need a room, I know he is at the Days Inn with us.

Leaving in 2 weeks. I am so pumped for this. Do we plan to drive part way on Thursday? How far/What town? Where will be the best place for us to meet up with you guys from up north? What time do we need to get to the track on friday morning? Sorry about all of the questions but I like to know in advance whats going on.

I got in contact with Tom and he knows. The free spot he had is already taken though.

I keep forgetting that the race isn't until two weekends from now, but I am leaving in a week! As you guys unwind from the Mitty--is there anything specific I need to bring with me for VIR? I will have two (2) radios with me to help on the caravan back home. Since I won't be seeing you guys until at or near the track...

I will bring a pair of black long pants and have my shoes in case any of the teams need pit workers. I'd love to help, but only if there are extra spots available. Otherwise I'll step back and let those who have done it before, have experience, or would like to have the experience go before me.

If you can think of anything else Justine or I will need, let us down. We are departing at 6am next Monday! So excited for this, because it marks the end of school and the beginning of our summer!

sunscreen!!! a cooler for water or other bevs ... and comfortable walking shoes ... oh, and chairs ... or a blanket to sit on ... can't think of anything else right now.

Hey Marlon,

We also need grid marshals for the Conti race. I will need at least 30 folks and we can always double up if we have more than that. Are you guys up for that?

Well, you guys are in if you want, between CVMC, Triangle Miata and Team Ohio we have it covered!

Many of you will remember Leah from last year. She's good fun. Trip down is the one time a year she gets to practice her stick-shift skills. Off course last year she took over driving just in time for us to stuck in the massive stop and go traffic north of Charlotte.

We try to combine this with a visit to a client in Charlotte, so we'll be staying over a few days and going home on the following Tuesday.

Awesome! She was a lot of fun, and we didn't scare her off either. LOL.

Whatever you need and I am there. Just let me know what I need to do/bring! So excited!

Chippy, we'll have you and Justine help Lauri with the sales of the Freedom t-shirts and the Rolex champ t shirts. Pablo, Larry and a cople of the others can handle the corral parking. Tom and Phen can lead the paddock tours, etc. We'll have a break down when I am able to sit down and discuss with Phen, Tom and Lauri this weekend.

Hey everyone. I'm entirely new to this forum and this is my first post, but I figured now was a good time to start since I'll be there with at least a few other guys for the weekend. We'll be camping on the outside of the track near the bridge, likely with a Cape Fear Region SCCA banner (Wilmington, NC area).

I'm a Miata owner along with my co-driver who is a former and future Miata owner. We were there for Grand-Am last year but never made it by the Mazda Paddock. I plan to fix that this year (though I did manage to walk into the MX-5 Cup area, look like I knew what I was doing and walk away with some Cup number plates for race days!).

I'm Morgan, btw.

I plan on arriving there Friday morning. We will be camping at the track for the weekend. Marlon...let me know if you need any help w/ the corral or the paddock tours.
