Morning NEPOC,

Went to get new summer tires mounted and put on this morning, walk in the door and am told they made a mistake when qouting me a price previously, went from $220 a corner to $167 a corner... after I picked my jaw up off the floor I knew it was too good to be true. I asked if I could see them and sure enough, they ordered Dunlop Direzza's instead of Direzza Star Specs. Oh well, should be there tomorrow. What a tease.

That sux...for pain and suffering and gas for two round trips there you should have talked them into giving you the Star Specs at the Direzza price.

im back on the fence of going . the wedding in the middle of the weekend really is a pain. I dont have anywhere to shower up or anything before the ceremony and home is quite out of the way from LRP.

also, i think the guy who backed into my bumper has bailed on paying (cannot get a hold of him anymore) so im stuck paying. Luckily its only costing $200 though so not awful but could still use that money elsewhere. luckily i dont have the car payment anymore so i can just think of it as just one more payment .

Ill decide soon on LRP but im not a definite anymore but maybe ill be convinced at the spring clean meet

Exactly...damage to the car was minimal but to me was a bit more extreme. All that for something that was done and over in seconds. Sux to hear about the guy bailing on paying, didn't you say you had his addy? Might be worth a visit with some rather large friends. Why shower for the wedding? Just throw the tux on at the track and go! Oh, you will be convinced at the meet. (evil)

Morning everyone.



Cool parts Kyle and long story short....on 1/21 a tractor trailer hit me causing just over $1000 worth of damage but I've done two months of physical therapy, had two MRIs done (one neck, one shoulder), a cortisone shot in the shoulder, an EMG (nerve) test and now three ESI (epidural steriod injections) in my neck. Turns out my C4 and C5 discs are bulging and causing all of my symptoms (pain in the neck...that's what she said, shoulder/shoulder blade pain, swelling, numb feeling in left arm and hand from certain movements) and I've been out of work at my second job since the accident.

This shouldn't be an issue, I'm pretty sure that every NEPOC member has cut endlinks off at somepoint in time. lol Speaking of I need to remember to grease the bushings on mine tonight.

well i dont mind being stinky . but i dont feel at all like cutting my hair just yet and the only way now it looks "good" is if i shower and then blow dry it straight-ish. dont worry, im searching for friends with houses in the area.

with the guy bailing, he did give me a different number to call on but i didnt save it. im going to send over a letter soon about small claims court to try and startle him. if not response, my hammer or a key might have something to say to the door of his new forester

Now that the soreness is going away I'm feeling much better than I was yesterday before the shot. Two more to go and the doc says I could be good for as little as three months to lifetime..nice odds eh? lol Hell yeah! Looking forward to it as always and gotta get a pic of the car with a bumpah in it.

Meh....just use some white lithium grease and your hair will be good to go.

Make sure that hammer is a BFH!!

Regarding the KNOB just saw this clip .. That vibrant CF knob looks very nice .. I found the Vibrant CF KNOB for $60 shipped from amazon ..

She's been pahked all wintah. Cops warned me I had gotten my last warning for inspection past due. Currently throwing about 5 codes. O2 sensors, EGR and god knows what else.

I haven't been able to bring myself to sell any of my parts for the turbo build, nor can I afford to get them installed (properly).
I even have a gorgeous 505 black powder coated sheet metal intake mani. Makes a great piece of art to stare at right now.
Been so depressed about it I have been avoiding the forums (nothing personal).

Been driving my Dad's Jeep all winter and despise it.
Cindy is loving her CX-7! If I can afford LRP this year, we would probably bring that.

So I took of the big NEPOC stickers on my front bumper. Looks cleaner, going to talk to my brother in law about repainting the bumper. Then she will be almost where I want her as far as paint, goes, need front and rear bumpers repainted, fog light deletes, tint and exterior will be done....then onto suspension.....then maybe exhaust.

Sounds like a plan Tony. I've been meaning to get tint since I bought the car...it's just never happened. lol I have an 03.5 MSP axle back I'll let you have for cheap if you are interested. It has the oval tip and has already been shortened to fit the P5 unless you were looking to go full catback.

So I've been driving the Miata the whole week to my current job site. It's a 25 mile drive each way and it's about an hour total... All back roads with some twisties and winding roads.

The downside is I am driving it because the MS6 battery is shot and I haven't had time to get a new one... I've been working from 7am to 8pm all week. The MS6 battery won't take a charge with the charger I have here.

However, the upside is that I've gotten a LOT of compliments on the car and as always.... Top Always Down!
