Astonishing find! Front Sway Bar Links

This is what I'm going to go buy... I had a rear endlink snap last week.

I know this is an old thread, but...
My understanding was that the Escape endlinks are for 01-03 Protege sedans and all P5's, is that correct?
Is the suspension different on 99-00 sedans?
Somebody also was doing some research on rear end links and there was rumor that Saturn LS may work.
Any other tips for low-cost parts replacement? I'm needing some suspension work in the spring and starting plans. All work will be stock, no real upgrades.

I'm gonna jump in on this old thread too. I'm still rocking my HKPRO5 endlinks and no problems here but when they go then ill be picking up a set of these...but I see there's a few options which do y'all say is the best

I installed the Escape front endlinks on my 03 Protege ES and they worked great. The only thing that didn't work right was the grease fitting wouldn't fit between the top of the endlink and the strut. Only minor but besides that they are great especially with the RacingBeat front sway bar.

How will these work with a lowered ES? I have read in some posts that you need a longer end link when lowered and some say that you need shorter links? Which way do I need to go? I need to replace both my front and back this weekend.

I think that the stock endlinks would fit just fine. Someone else might know for sure though.

I have the stock ones on now and they wore out in about 2 years. If this fits on the front, it would be a good option if they are stronger and would last longer, if the length is ok. Anyone else know if i need shorter or longer links if I am lowered so they sway bar sits in the right position?

On the front when lowered the sway bar is being pulled up compared to the subframe so they need to be longer. I picked up a pair today at 19 bucks each for the more expensive ones. They're easily twice as thick, greasable, and an inch longer then my old links!

I bought mine at oreillys/schucks w/e it is in ur area. Part number is k80104. They have master craft for 9.99 or moog for 19.99. I went with the more expensive ones with lifetime warranty.

sweet thanks 99prolx i think ill go with expensive also, justanothermp5 how long did your setup last on the stock illunimas/GC, i think im going that route...

I've been running kyb gr2s with GCs allll the way down like he had and I have 20k miles without a blown strut yet

if i just bought the GC's and put them on the stock illuminas on my msp, would i have a blown strut issue within like 2 weeks? car has 142,322 on it?

I correct myself. These endlinks are 2 inches longer then my stock endlinks. Sway bar sits perfectly level up front with about 3.5 inches of drop. I'm satisfied
