That was right after I totalled my P5, must've been why I missed it. There was a cupcake meet here in Austin in January but I was working and missed that one too.
 
hey you guys arent to far from me either lol!!! its good to know well i would definitely want in if another msp meet comes along keep me posted.....

on stock trans, i would stick with 12-14psi, its really up to you though, i had mine at 12psi and s*** hauled ass...

and not sure if you have an aftermarket clutch or not, but you might need one..

at 12 psi the whp output is prob around 250-ish and the stock clutch may start slipping...not sure what msp clutches are rated too

Yeah, it's for sale. It is sitting at a dealership right now. The guy traded it in for a STI. but my thing is, he claimed to have a built motor and nitrous. Now after rebuilding the motor and spending money on a nitrous setup, why trade the car in right after that? Plus it still had the stock intercooler and plastic pipes. He was a pretty cool guy until he got the STI and started talking s*** about MSPs and claimed his car was faster than mine even though we never raced. Then told me I would never break 13's or 14's in the 1/4 without breaking something it will never see 300 hp or anything over 10 psi. Keep in mind we are talking about a built motor with a GT30 on it running standalone EMS and meth. So after setting the facts straight on what it takes to make decent power with these cars and how easily it would walk on his 325hp STI, he couldn't take the heat so he proceeded to threaten me( we are both in the army) saying I'm disrespecting him(we are talking about cars, not each other). So in the end, car guys talk trash a lot. If you can't handle it, you don't belong around car guys. So, I could care less about the outcome of that car, him or that STI. He even went as far as to say " I'm a modder, it's what I do" but last time I checked, he was asking me how to use the boost controller on his car. Enough with the BS though. The car is out of his hands and will hopefully be put in good hands AND MODDED RIGHT!!! Claimed to run a 14.8 in the 1/4 and had the nerve to say his car is faster than mine!! You can run a 14.8 completely stock!!! I'm done venting now

Well If I was there I would lock him up at attention (a prop for being an Officer and former NCO) and make him do push ups with his feet elevated on that stupid wing he had on that poor MSP.

Congrats, Im glad that he got an STI, now he can look like a dumb ass on NASIOC or some other STI forum, and put an even bigger wing on his new car.

Edit: I wish I was stationed there sometimes. I have met alot of single soldier/marines/etc. that buy a nice car right after deployment, then go to the Auto Craft Shop and beg for help with oil changes. I used to volunteer at Ft. Huachuca's Auto Shop about 10 years ago when I was a lonely Specialist, and we would have some real Winner's come in.

Every next generation of newer "KIDS" getting ahold of these cars.... less informed than ever and educated by youtube videos :)

I wouldn't mind de-rice-ifying that hood though!
 
According to the listing, he was trying to get 12k for it. I told him to wake up from his dream because that wasn't happening. He proceeded to tell me he got an 11k offer for it. But, it's sitting at a dealership right now
 
It's a shame it is a spicy, if it didn't have the Fugly Club kit and wasn't over priced and DID actually have a built drivetrain I would be interested. On the other hand I bet the tool of a previous owner ground his fair share of gears.
 
Saw someone driving it today, don't know if it was being test driven or already bought but there was two guys in it and they both stared my car down and did a ricer flyby. Now, that dealership has what appears to be a blue 03.5 with that same body kit and an Evo spoiler.
