What have you done to your MSP today?

I am not sure. I will keep you in mind when I do take it off. I think he got the alteredcustoms FMIC kit which is 28" x 5.5" x 2.5 with 2" inlet/outlets. Again once I have the time to drop the front bumper again (which hopefully will be soon) I will measure it out and let you know. If I let go of it, I am sure I would do it cheap for another MSP owner just to get it out the door lol.

no rush. i almost have enough money to get my friends exhaust so im trying to decide on getting that or getting a new video card ha. shipping is what kills for me. i dont wanna pay anymore than like $25 to ship the damn thing..

Went to the store for lithium grease and endlinks so I can install my new swaybar bushings. I started with the front and the bolts on the endlink, the first bolts I tried to remove wouldn't come out. The top one I got with my impact, the bottom would not budge. I broke the stud trying to use an allen key and box wrench to get it loose. This was after soaking all the bolts in WD40. I really wanted to try out the Escape endlinks but I guess I will have to wait. I have no idea how to get that bolt out now. I am so ******* frustrated.

I ended up cutting mine off with a sawsall

had a debate about ordering; a new video card so starcraft looks better, an exhaust system or an fmic.

decided to get the fmic. just got a 28x5.5x2.5" cxracing core. its bar and plate and should be a nice upgrade from stock. easily enough until i upgrade to a built motor and bigger turbo.

the rest of the money i have, goes in the sock for buying summer tires in may. its too bad costco has their $70 off bridgestone right now, cause i still need to refinish my wheels ect. so thats probably all the love my msp is gonna get this year.
if i can scrounge enough extra cash, ill grab a 60mm corksport.

hell yea i can't wait to swap in my cxracing core. I think it should provide better throttle response compared to my huge garrett cored.

Cant argue with the price i paid. $102.98 shipped to canada is a steal.

I saw a bigger godspeed for $200ish but didnt see the shipping. probably $75 or somthing stupid. was 7" high.

I don't wanna have to modify my crashbar, or my frontlip/bumper to put this on so this one is plenty big. This paired with the 8 new 2.25" pipes + couplers im getting from pep, ill have a pretty decent throttle response and no more heatsoak =)

bah. stupid ebay urls not working right. but im sure people have seen the core before.

lol this sounds kinda backwards...but what size was your garrett core?

I know you think I'm retarded for getting rid of a garrett for a cxracing. My garrett is rather large at 34x6x3.5 whereas the cxracing is 28x5.5x2.5

I just really think that my core is totally overkill for my setup (t25 @ 9psi max) when I bought it from a member that was using a gt28rs around 16-18 psi. If it doesn't perform to my liking, then I will return / sell it and purchase a name brand. But I am fairly confident it will work just fine, and just because a price tag is high doesn't mean the product is all that and a bag of potato chips.

Finished all my components off the mill at work for my boost activated 3" cutout and assembled it with my Pope Dp Thursday and welded it all in Christmas day while my kids were at their moms. Then changed oil and tranny fluid and washed her today :)

Well its too cold out for me to get traction even in 4th to let my cutout open above 10psi (need new tires badly) but I definately feel a faster takeoff and has the car moving getting into boost much quicker vs. my old setup with the cutout opened all the time. Give me a couple days of warmer weather and I'll let you know how the dp is.

lol nah, i dont think anything, it just sounded funny
but that does sound pretty big, let us know how it feels once you swap in the smaller core
